Bouveret, Port-Valais Cam Live

Masts fill the marina basin at Bouveret, on the eastern tip of Lake Geneva, where the Rhone river runs into the lake. The Chablais Alps close the far shore, and cloud often sits halfway down the slopes.

Bouveret is a village in the commune of Port-Valais, in the Swiss canton of Valais, at the point where the lake shore turns into the Rhone valley. A weather panel on the webcam image gives the current temperature and the outlook for the days ahead.

The harbour is one of the larger sailing bases on the lake, and boats stay moored under covers through the winter months. Les Evouettes, the other village of the commune, lies inland on the valley side, and the Swiss Vapeur Parc miniature railway operates nearby.
