Otter Exhibit, Trevor-Lovejoy Zoo Live Cam

This camera watches the otter exhibit at Trevor-Lovejoy Zoo in Millbrook, New York, a creekside home for North American river otters. The picture changes between the pool and the dry bank beside it.

Founded in 1936 on the grounds of Millbrook School in Dutchess County, the zoo describes itself as the only one located at a high school and keeps about 80 species. The otters live along Mill Brook, which forms a shallow pool framed by trees and fenced banks.

One view looks down on the rippling water, with a low concrete edge and fence posts at the far side of the pool. Another shows the drier bank, where a wooden den box with a mesh front stands among tree trunks on gravel and leaf litter. A woodland path appears in a third view. The otters are not always in shot, so the scene often looks empty.
