Ohio River, Jeffersonville Live Cam

This camera looks across the Ohio River from the Indiana shore at Jeffersonville toward the downtown Louisville skyline. The view turns between wide shots of the water and the skyline and close shots of the bridge piers.

Jeffersonville stands on the north bank of the river, directly across from Louisville, Kentucky, and the two cities are joined by several bridges. The George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge, a steel cantilever truss bridge opened in 1929, crosses the river here. This stretch of the Ohio is a working waterway used by towboats and their barges.

The widest view lines up the golden truss of the bridge with the office towers of downtown Louisville, with the broad brown river in front. Zoomed in, the camera looks under the bridge deck at the elevated highway and the buildings along the Louisville riverfront.
