La Grange Railroad Museum, Kentucky Live Cam

The camera at the La Grange Railroad Museum in Kentucky looks past a black-and-green locomotive toward the CSX line along East Main Street. A single track bends away beside a lawn strip, a grey metal-clad shed and tall autumn trees.

The museum occupies the former L&N depot built in 1914, at 412 East Main Street, and shows older rolling stock outdoors, including a 1929 dining car and a 1953 caboose. Here the CSX LCL Subdivision, the old Louisville & Nashville Short Line, has already left the pavement of Main Street and runs on gravel ballast.

This mount does not move, so the composition stays the same from day to night. A small white equipment cabinet stands by the rails, the shed has two garage doors, and a yellow machine sits behind a green fence. Passing freights run between the lens and the shed.
