La Grange Main Street Crossing, Kentucky Live Cam

In La Grange, Kentucky, CSX freight tracks are set into Main Street, and this camera looks down on a downtown crossing from above. Brick storefronts, crossing gates and a red stop sign frame the street, with parked cars along both curbs.

Rails are embedded in the pavement between 4th Avenue and Cedar Avenue, part of the CSX LCL Subdivision, the former Louisville & Nashville Short Line, and trains crawl through at 10 mph. The surrounding blocks form a National Register historic district listed in 1988, and the Oldham County Courthouse is a short walk away.
