Weather and time
The camera watches the paddocks of the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center, a horse rescue farm near Nicholasville, Kentucky. Its view moves between wide pastures with long black plank fences, green field shelters and a large arched barn.
The center occupies 72 acres in the rolling hills of Jessamine County, south of Lexington. This nonprofit takes in surrendered, neglected and abandoned horses, retrains them and looks for adoptive homes. It accepts every breed, from miniature horses to donkeys and mules, and keeps 35 to 50 of them at a time. It was founded in 2008 as the Kentucky Equine Humane Center and later took its present name.
The camera turns between parts of the farm, so one frame shows an open field with a water trough and the next a grass lane running between two fence lines or a shed at the edge of a pasture.
