Ober Gatlinburg, Tennessee Live Cam

Ober Gatlinburg is a ski area and amusement park on a ridge above the town of Gatlinburg, in the Tennessee Smokies. The webcam turns over the tubing lanes and the lifts.

Getting up here is half of it: an aerial tramway runs from the middle of the town to the top, carrying a hundred and twenty people at a time, and the alternative is a steep road round the mountain.

Snow this far south is made rather than fallen, and the season is short. The town below is the main gate to the Great Smoky Mountains, the most visited national park in the country, which takes more than twelve million people a year.
