Sea Tow South Shore Live Cam

Boats stand shrink-wrapped in white plastic on the hard at Green Harbor, in Marshfield on the south shore of Massachusetts. A boatyard shed and the pontoons fill the middle of the frame.

Hulls come out of the water in November and go back in around April, which is why the yard in this webcam picture is fuller than the marina. The stream is provided by the local Sea Tow operator, the service that tows broken-down boats home.

Green Harbor is a base for charter fishing on cod, haddock and striped bass, and the inlet in view opens to the Atlantic past a stone jetty. Marshfield lies between Boston and Cape Cod, on a stretch of coast that is mostly salt marsh.
