Hendy Field, Massachusetts Maritime Academy Live Cam

This camera looks across a storage yard toward Hendy Field, the baseball field of Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay. A row of storage containers and parked mowers fills the foreground, and beyond the turf lie a strip of water and a wooded shore with houses.

Hendy Field is the longtime home of the academy's Buccaneers baseball team and is named after Commodore William Hendy, who started its first baseball team. It reopened with an all-turf surface in 2018 and lies at the north end of the campus, close to the shore.

The camera is mounted high above the yard, so containers, mowers and stacks of orange gear take up the lower half of the picture. A yellow foul pole and two tall poles stand on the field, and a large white building with dormer windows rises at the right edge.
