C&NW Railroad Powerhouse Live Cam

This live webcam from the Chicago & North Western Power House looks east along the railway tracks that lead to the Ogilvie Transportation Centre in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The downtown Chicago skyline and the surrounding area are also in view.

The Powerhouse was built in 1911 for the Chicago and North Western Railway and is one of only two surviving railroad powerhouses in Chicago. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and now holds office and retail space. The tracks seen on the feed carry Metra Union Pacific routes, connecting commuters to destinations such as Elburn, Harvard and North Kenosha. For the exact location, see the map further down the page.
