Atlantic Ave, Ocean City Live Cam

The boardwalk at Ocean City runs south from the camera towards the amusement piers at the inlet end of the island. The hotel providing the feed stands on Atlantic Avenue behind it.

Trimper's, at the far end, has been running rides since the 1890s and still turns a carousel bought in 1912, with hand-carved animals and a band organ. It is among the oldest amusement parks in the country still held by one family.

The beach beside it runs about fifteen kilometres north to the Delaware line, and a tram works the length of the boardwalk in season. Out of season the boards are empty and the wind comes straight in off the water.
