Techi Reservoir, Lishan Live Cam

This camera looks across Techi Reservoir near Lishan from a hillside on the south shore toward the Jiayang alluvial fan. The view takes in the water, the farmland on the fan, a long footbridge and the high ridges behind them.

Techi Reservoir fills the upper Dajia River valley in Lishan, Heping District of Taichung, behind an arch dam about five kilometres to the west. The Jiayang alluvial fan is a spur of farmland with greenhouses and orchards, and the reservoir wraps around it on three sides. The New Jiayang suspension footbridge, roughly 250 metres long, joins the fan to the near shore, and a goods ropeway also crosses the water.

The camera sits on a slope above the south shore and changes framing: a wide view of the fan peninsula and bridge, a close shot of the footbridge deck, and a view up the valley where hazy ridges close the horizon.
