Wuling Pass, Hehuanshan Live Cam

This view looks over Wuling, the 3,275-metre saddle in the Hehuanshan area of central Taiwan and the highest point of the island's road network. A viewing terrace with visitors fills the left side, while Provincial Highway 14A runs past a busy car park below a rocky slope.

Wuling lies between the main peak and the east peak of Hehuanshan in Ren'ai Township, Nantou County, inside Taroko National Park. Highway 14A climbs here from Qingjing Farm and continues towards Dayuling in Hualien County. Snow is fairly common on Hehuanshan in winter, unlike most of Taiwan.

The camera faces across the road towards the car park, where rows of vehicles stand beneath a crag and a grassy hillside. People gather at the terrace railing and cross the road on the zebra crossing. Readings of temperature, humidity, pressure and wind sit in the upper left corner.
