Guanyinting Recreation Area, Magong Live Cam

A 360-degree camera on the roof of a small building in Magong looks out over the Guanyinting Recreation Area to the Xiying Rainbow Bridge. Its default view follows a curving path past lawns and outdoor fitness equipment to the seawall and the blue steel arch with its red piers.

Guanyin Pavilion, the temple that gives the park its name, was founded in 1696 on the shore of Penghu’s inner sea and is listed as a county monument. The seafront park beside it has lawns, sports grounds and a small beach. The 200-metre bridge was finished in 2004, and in summer the area hosts the Penghu International Fireworks Festival.

Dragged in the player, the sphere also shows the temple forecourt with a white elephant statue to the south and palms around a blue-paved play area to the north. After dark the arch shows as a line of light above the water.
