Weather and time
This camera looks out over the Kluczbork Reservoir from the sandy beach at Ligota Górna, just east of the town of Kluczbork in southern Poland. The beach with a lifeguard chair curves away to the right, while wooded shores and small islands close the far side of the water.
The reservoir, also called Zalew Kluczbork, was built on the Stobrawa river by deepening a former gravel pit and opened in October 2012. It covers about 56 hectares and measures roughly 1.4 km by 600 m. Besides holding back floods, it is used for swimming, water sports and angling, and a path of almost 3.5 km runs around it.
The fixed view runs from a concrete path and stone-lined bank on the left across the bathing area to the far end of the beach. A guarded swimming area opens here in summer, and on quiet autumn days flocks of water birds rest along the waterline.
