Nogawa River at Osawa 6-chome, Mitaka Live Cam

This camera watches the Nogawa River in Osawa 6-chome, Mitaka, where a shallow stream winds through reeds and long grass. A fence and a stepped slope run along the far bank, while a mown lawn fills the lower right of the frame.

The main campus of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan lies about 500 m to the east, and the old farmhouse and restored waterwheel of Osawa no Sato stand about 500 m to the north. Chofu Airport is roughly 500 m to the south-west, and Nogawa Park begins to the north-west.

The camera looks across the channel from a grassy bank, so reeds frame the near side and the stream turns away toward the upper right. A few houses appear at the very top of the frame.
