Shakujii River at Shibakubo, Nishitokyo Live Cam

This camera overlooks the Shakujii River at Shibakubo in Nishitokyo, where a narrow concrete channel runs between tall walls. Steel crossbeams span the water at the lower left, and a wide paved ledge fills the right foreground.

The camera stands in Shibakubo 1-chome, Nishitokyo. Kami-Mukodai Elementary School is about 260 m away and Tanashi High School about 500 m. The large Koganei Park lies within a kilometre of this spot, and the river runs east from here through Nishitokyo.

The channel is shut in by concrete, so the picture is mostly walls and paving rather than open water. A curved bridge with a green mesh railing leads away in the distance at the upper left, and a pale blue panel is painted on the wall at the right. Tall trees behind a wire fence rise beyond that wall, and the dark water shows only as a narrow band at the bottom left.
