Shakujii River at Mukodai, Nishitokyo Live Cam

This camera watches the Shakujii River at Mukodai in Nishitokyo, a narrow channel between a weathered concrete wall and a ribbed slope. A tree heavy with orange fruit hangs over the left wall, and a thin stream carries fallen leaves along the bottom.

The camera stands in Mukodai-cho 5-chome, Nishitokyo. Tanashi High School is about 150 m away, with Tanashi Citizens' Park and Kami-Mukodai Elementary School both within 300 m. The Shakujii River rises near the Koganei Country Club in Kodaira, and the Mukodai flood control basin was completed in 1984.

The right side of the frame is filled by a stepped, rounded concrete structure that descends toward the water, while a post with a red sign stands against the left wall. The stream is shallow, and the wet concrete and scattered leaves show how much water is in the channel.
