Weather and time
This camera faces a long concrete bank wall on the Ayase River at Kosuge in Katsushika, Tokyo, across a broad stretch of rippled water. A pale-blue bridge girder juts into the frame at the right edge.
The station stands in Kosuge 1-chome, close to where the road Heiwabashi-dori crosses the river. Shin-Mito Bridge is only about 30 m away and Mito Bridge about 150 m. Kosuge Shrine stands about 100 m to the north-east and Kosuge Hachimangu about 160 m to the north, with Kosuge Higashi Sports Park roughly 250 m to the east. The Ayase River rises in Okegawa and flows into the Naka River.
The camera looks straight at the wall. Pale concrete panels with vertical joints stand above a broad ledge at the waterline, with a small white panel set into the wall. At the right a dark pier sits beneath the blue girder.
