Fassa Valley, Trento Live Cam

The Buffaure ski area above Pozza di Fassa lies in front of this webcam, in the Dolomites of northern Italy. Snow cannon stand along the piste in the foreground, and the rock walls of the range fill the horizon.

The sector has about 17 kilometres of runs and belongs to the Val di Fassa area within the Dolomiti Superski network. The valley is one of the Ladin-speaking valleys, with its own language and place names alongside Italian and German.

The rock faces opposite turn pink at sunset, the effect the Ladin name enrosadira refers to. In summer the lift keeps running for walkers and the same slopes are grass.
