Jerusalem Bird Observatory Live Cam

The second camera from this Jerusalem operator, set near the bird ringing station and pointed over the treetops at the city lights. A single pine stands black against the glow.

The frame shown here is a few minutes past five in the morning, with orange street lighting picking out the streets and a bright yard on the left. The ringing station itself is a small wooded enclosure in a hollow below the government quarter, and the camera looks past it rather than into it.

So this is a night-and-dawn view rather than a wildlife one: no birds in shot, but a clean read on when the city wakes up. Between roughly midnight and four the picture is almost entirely dark sky and lamps.
