Kestrel Loggia Overview, Brno-Bystrc Live Cam

Wicker nest baskets and a wooden box for common kestrels stand on a glazed loggia of an apartment block in Brno-Bystrc, Czechia. The corner view takes in the baskets, the wall perches and the housing blocks outside.

Kestrels have nested on this loggia regularly since 2007. The present male has lived here since November 2019 and the present female since 12 February 2022, and the pair raised six young in 2023 and in 2024 and seven in 2025. Both birds stayed through the winter of 2025-26.

This stream cycles through several camera positions on the loggia. Frames from one day showed the corner overview, a wall with perches facing the window and low close-ups of the nest basket, and live frames taken less than a minute apart showed different views.
