Kestrel Nest and Perch, Brno-Bystrc Live Cam

A wide-angle camera looks along a kestrel loggia in Brno-Bystrc, with a wicker nest basket beside a weathered wooden perch on the wall. The glazed side of the loggia and a roller blind over a window fill the left part of the frame.

The loggia belongs to a flat in a Bystrc housing estate. The six young of 2026 left for the street between 13 and 16 June, yet all of them kept coming back to the loggia until 9 July. After that the loggia stood empty for much of the day and was visited mainly by the adult male.

The basket is seen from the side, so the picture shows how the nest sits against the wall next to the perch. A potted plant stands on a low cabinet by the window, and an earlier frame shows two adult kestrels standing at the rim of the basket.
