Kestrel Loggia Window View, Brno-Bystrc Live Cam

A wide view of a glazed kestrel loggia in Brno-Bystrc shows a window, a wooden shelf unit and a worn table with potted plants. Beyond the window are housing blocks and a line of hills on the horizon.

Kestrels have nested on this loggia since 2007. In 2026 the resident pair, which had spent the winter here, began courting in February, and the female laid her first egg on the morning of 5 April. The brood of six fledged in mid-June.

Wooden perch brackets are fixed to the wall in the middle of the picture. The stream adds a scrolling text banner, a local weather panel and small insets with the nest basket and the corner overview, so several parts of the loggia can be watched at once.
