Vancouver Harbour Live Cam

Container cranes stand along the south shore of Burrard Inlet at Vancouver, with the north shore mountains behind them. The webcam looks over the terminal from the city side.

This is the largest port in Canada by tonnage and it works in the middle of a city: terminals, grain elevators and sulphur piles run along a waterfront a few streets from downtown, with a railway squeezed in between.

Burrard Inlet is a fjord, deep and narrow, and ships come in under a single bridge at the First Narrows. The mountains across the water rise past a thousand metres within a few kilometres of the container yards.
