Devin, Smolyan Live Cam

The spa town of Devin in the western Rhodopes, seen from the hillside above its rooftops, with forested ridges beyond. The valley narrows on both sides.

Devin sits where the Vacha and Devinska rivers meet, at around 700 metres, and is known across Bulgaria for its mineral water — the springs feed both the bottling plant and a row of thermal hotels. The camera looks down over red-tiled houses in the foreground to the apartment blocks of the town centre below.

The gorge road south towards Trigrad and Yagodina starts here, which makes Devin the usual gateway for anyone heading into the caves and gorges of the western Rhodopes.
