Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná Live Cam

Foz do Iguaçu spreads out below this webcam in the state of Paraná, at the western edge of Brazil near Paraguay. Apartment blocks and trees fill the frame, with the flat wooded country of the border region beyond them.

The city sits where the Iguaçu river meets the Paraná and where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet, and it lives on two things: the falls a few kilometres downstream and the Itaipu dam upstream. Bridges cross to Ciudad del Este and to Puerto Iguazú.

Cloud and rain are frequent here, which is what keeps the falls running. The camera pans across the skyline rather than holding one angle.
