FG Big Wheel, Balneário Camboriú Live Cam

The FG Big Wheel turns above the northern end of the beach at Balneário Camboriú, in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The wheel stands on the point at the left of the frame, and the breakwater and the sand fill the rest of it.

The wheel is 82 metres high and turns above the rocks at the mouth of the bay, next to the Barra Norte breakwater. Behind it the Atlantic forest covers the hills that separate this beach from the smaller coves further north.

The cabins are lit after dark and the wheel becomes the brightest thing in the picture. The other camera in the city looks along Avenida Atlântica at the far end of the same beach, at street level rather than from above.
