Beach and Piers, Nieuwpoort-Bad Live Cam

This camera looks from a seafront building in Nieuwpoort-Bad across a wide sandy beach toward two long piers. The North Sea fills the upper part of the frame, and a colourful fence marks the edge of the Zeedijk promenade at the bottom.

Nieuwpoort-Bad is the seaside district of Nieuwpoort on the Belgian coast of West Flanders. The Zeedijk runs along the beach, and the coast stretches northeast toward the harbour entrance where the piers reach into the sea. At low water a broad band of wet sand opens up near the waterline.

The camera changes direction and zoom, showing the whole beach with the piers, a closer framing of the piers, the open sea with a lighthouse tower at the frame edge, and the surf line along the sand. Looking down from a height, it shows the full width of the beach rather than a street-level promenade.
