Stratton Golf Course, Winhall Live Cam

From a deck beside the pro shop of the Stratton golf course in Winhall, Vermont, this camera looks across a fairway to Stratton Mountain. A paved cart path curves over the grass in front, and a belt of conifers and hardwoods separates the course from the slopes.

The golf course lies at the foot of the mountain, a short distance north of the base village, and has 27 holes arranged as three nines. It was designed by the golf architect Geoffrey Cornish and opened in 1964, three years after the ski area.

The camera is fixed on the deck railing, and the long ridge of the mountain fills the upper half of the frame. Cleared ski trails run down its face, so this angle shows the whole ski area from below rather than from a lift or a trail.
