Weather and time
This camera looks up the Snow Bowl on Stratton Mountain in Vermont from the bottom station of the Snow Bowl Express chairlift. A wide trail climbs between stands of hardwoods toward the ridge, with lift towers and cable along the left edge of the picture.
The Snow Bowl is one of the older parts of the ski area: it opened for the 1964–65 season with a double chairlift. Since 2018 it has been served by the Snow Bowl Express, a high-speed quad about 1,336 metres long that rises 418 metres. Its upper terminal stands near the top of the summit gondola, and a sign at the summit points the way down to the bowl.
The camera is fixed just above the gravel apron at the foot of the slope. Frames from different hours show the same scene, with the lift line on the left and the trail running straight ahead into the woods.
