Smith College Athletic Fields, Northampton Live Cam

This camera looks across the southern arm of Paradise Pond to the Smith College athletic fields in Northampton, Massachusetts. A fenced softball diamond sits on the far bank, with a running track and a playing field with goals behind it.

The sports complex occupies flat ground on the south side of the pond, next to a row of tennis courts. Smith has 11 varsity teams competing in NCAA Division III. In 2025 the teams became the Bears in honor of Senda Berenson, who organized the first women's basketball game at the college in 1893.

The camera sits on a rooftop whose gravel edge fills the lower left corner, above a grassy bank and a path with a lamp post. Unlike the wider view of the pond from the same campus, this angle centers on the diamond and the track, with floodlight masts and wooded hills behind.
