Weather and time
Tracks curve past brick industrial buildings and a white water tower beside South Council Street in Muncie, Indiana. The fixed camera looks east along two main tracks and a branch swinging off to the right.
Muncie is a meeting point for CSX's Indianapolis Line, a former New York Central route of the Big Four system that runs east toward Ohio, and two Norfolk Southern lines. The Frankfort District once linked Peoria and Sandusky, and the New Castle District grew out of the Fort Wayne, Muncie & Cincinnati Railroad.
The frame is static: the main tracks run diagonally from the lower right toward a signal bridge and a long brick building on the left, while a curving spur leads toward a small concrete building on the right. Shrubs and weeds fill the foreground, and the water tower rises above the trees in the background.
