Weather and time
The camera overlooks the junction of North Main Street, part of State Route 741, and Lytle-Five Points Road in northern Springboro, Ohio. Wide crosswalks, painted turn lanes and a green bike box mark the pavement, while open grassland stretches beyond the far corner.
Springboro, a city of about 19,000 people between Dayton and Cincinnati, was founded in 1815 and served as a stop on the Underground Railroad. State Route 741 forms Main Street through the city and continues north toward Dayton as Springboro Pike. Lytle-Five Points Road runs east from here toward the Five Points crossroads.
Unlike the downtown camera at Main Street and Central Avenue, this view is open and suburban, with grass verges and a multi-storey building on the horizon. A sign for N Main St hangs from the signal arm on the right, and cars line up at the far stop line on red.
