LAX South Airfield, Imperial Highway Live Cam

This camera looks across the south side of Los Angeles International Airport from a raised position near Imperial Highway. Cargo jets, warehouses and runways fill the view, with the control tower and the Theme Building on the horizon.

Los Angeles International Airport lies on the Pacific coast in the Westchester area, and its runways run in two parallel pairs with the terminals between them. The south edge of the field borders Imperial Highway, where freight buildings line the road and cargo airlines park their jets. Cars pass along a road at the bottom of the frame.

The camera turns between several views. By day it covers the cargo apron and the airfield, the terminal area with the tower, and the blocks of Inglewood to the east with SoFi Stadium and the mountains beyond. After dark it often turns to the lit skyline of downtown Los Angeles.
