The Garden State Parkway bridge crosses Great Egg Harbor Bay in front of this webcam, in New Jersey. Traffic runs along the high span in the middle of the frame, and low marsh closes the far shore.

The parkway is the toll road that runs the length of the state and carries the shore traffic, crossing here between Somers Point and Marmora. The power station that used to stand on the far bank at Beesleys Point has been demolished, so the skyline in this frame is now bridge and marsh alone.

Summer Fridays back the bridge up in one direction and Sundays in the other. The bay is shallow and tidal, and birds work the flats along the near shore.
