Empire Express is a detachable quad chairlift in Empire Canyon, on the western side of Deer Valley. It opened in 1998 and climbs from Empire Canyon Lodge to the high ridge above the canyon, reaching a top terminal near 9,550 feet.

The camera is fixed and looks back down the lift line. A green steel tower and chairs fill the left side, with aspen groves, dark spruce and a pale meadow on the hillside, and open ridges beyond. Frames from late morning to mid-afternoon show the same view.
