Daytona Beach, Florida Live Cam

Daytona Beach faces the Atlantic in north-east Florida, with palms along the front and a pier to the north. The camera looks along the sand from above the boardwalk.

The pier dates from 1925 and once carried a ballroom and a gondola ride along its length. The boardwalk and the arcades behind it have been rebuilt several times since, most of those after hurricanes.

Two motorcycle weeks a year, in March and October, bring several hundred thousand riders onto this stretch of road. The speedway that took the racing off the sand in 1959 is four kilometres inland.
