Burlington Riverfront, Iowa Live Cam

On the Burlington Memorial Auditorium in Iowa, a pan-tilt camera overlooks a parking lot and the BNSF yard behind it. Other positions turn to the Mississippi River, its bridges and nearby brick buildings.

BNSF's Ottumwa Subdivision, the former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy main line across Iowa, reaches the Mississippi here at milepost 204.6. The Hannibal Subdivision, the K Line, runs south to St. Louis through Fort Madison and Keokuk. Amtrak's California Zephyr stops in the city daily in each direction.

The default view shows freight trains and switching locomotives in the yard under a wooded bluff with radio masts. Turned toward the river, the camera shows the shoreline and a bridge with a lift span, or a rust-red steel truss near the bank.
