Weather and time
This camera overlooks Brothertown Harbor on the east shore of Lake Winnebago, in the Town of Brothertown, Calumet County, Wisconsin. Its view takes in the paved launch lot, trucks with boat trailers along the grassy shoreline and the open lake beyond.
Lake Winnebago is the largest lake entirely within Wisconsin, yet it averages only about 15 feet deep. The harbor is a public boat launch with three concrete lanes behind a breakwater, rebuilt and paved in 2009. The town shares its name with the Brothertown Indians, who settled here from New York in the 1830s.
The camera turns between presets: the launch ramps with the tree-lined harbor basin, and the row of lakeside parking spaces facing open water. A street lamp and a maple, deep red in autumn, stand in the foreground.
