Calumet County Park, Lake Winnebago Live Cam

This camera looks out over Lake Winnebago from the shore of Calumet County Park, near Stockbridge on the east side of the lake in Wisconsin. Branches of a shoreline tree frame the upper left corner, and a grassy, rock-lined bank leads down to open water.

The park lies where the Niagara Escarpment rises close to the water. It is known for six effigy mounds on the escarpment, several shaped like panthers or water spirits, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park also has a campground and a harbor with a five-lane boat launch.

Unlike the Brothertown Harbor camera further south, this one holds a fixed view of open water rather than a launch or parking lot. It faces west across Lake Winnebago, the largest lake entirely within Wisconsin, and on clear days the far shore shows only as a thin line on the horizon.
