West Bay Harbour Quayside, Bridport Live Cam

This camera looks over West Bay Harbour at Bridport on the Dorset coast from the quayside, with the sea on the horizon beyond the inner harbour. A paved seating area with picnic tables and a bus shelter fills the foreground, and moored boats sit in the water behind it.

West Bay is the small harbour settlement of Bridport, built around the mouth of the River Brit. The quay walls stand on timber piles, and the basin holds fishing boats and pleasure craft with orange buoys between them. Modern apartment blocks stand on the opposite quay. A fish and chip kiosk is visible at the right edge, and motorcycles are often parked in the seating area.

The camera is fixed and looks across the water from street level, so people, bikes and boats at the quay appear at close range. The harbour entrance and the sea horizon lie at upper left.
