Xiao Wulai Scenic, Taoyuan Live Cam

The Xiao Wulai valley lies below this webcam in the Fuxing district of Taoyuan City, in northern Taiwan. Forested ridges close both sides, and a red bridge crosses the river in the middle distance.

The valley is known for its waterfall and for a glass viewing platform cantilevered over the drop above it. The road through here is part of the northern cross-island highway, and the villages along it are Atayal, one of the indigenous peoples of the mountains.

Typhoon rain brings landslides that close this road for weeks at a time. Cloud fills the valley in the early morning and lifts through the middle of the day.
