Liushishi Mountain, Fuli Live Cam

This camera looks down from Liushishi Mountain in Fuli Township, Hualien, over farmhouses and daylily fields to the East Rift Valley. Beyond the valley floor, with its rice paddies and a wide riverbed, rise the long ridges of the Central Mountain Range.

Liushishi Mountain stands at about 800 metres on the Coastal Mountain Range, east of Zhutian Village. With Chike Mountain and Taimali Mountain it is one of the three main daylily-growing areas of eastern Taiwan. The flowers bloom orange in August and September, when traffic control and shuttle buses run on the mountain road.

The camera turns between several views. It looks down on the red and blue roofs of the hamlet, across the plain to a town on the valley floor, over a painted water tank among the daylily rows, and toward a timber lookout tower beside rows of tea bushes.
