Stormhuset, Apelviken Live Cam

Stormhuset stands in the middle of Apelviken, a wide sandy surf bay on the Kattegat coast just south of Varberg in Halland. The camera takes its name from this surfers' house and shows the beach, the dunes and the open sea.

Apelviken is among the best-known surf spots in Sweden, drawing surfers, kitesurfers and windsurfers when a west-northwesterly wind brings in the waves. The shallow bay is also a popular swimming beach in summer. Stormhuset was completed in 2025 as a gathering place for the local surfing community.

This pan-tilt camera turns to several parts of the bay. One view looks over the open sea toward a low rocky outcrop with a small tower, another faces a wooded point with two football goals on the sand, and a landward view shows a gravel parking area, a wooden staircase and the dunes.
