Sanctuary of Our Lady, Krasnobród Live Cam

This camera faces the Baroque Church of the Visitation in Krasnobród, home of the Shrine of Our Lady and a former Dominican monastery. The frame shows the white and red church front, the pink tower of the monastery wing, two statues and an ornate gate in the churchyard wall.

The church was built between 1690 and 1699 with funds from Queen Maria Kazimiera Sobieska and was designed by Jan Michał Link. Dominican friars, settled here in 1664, served it until the Tsarist authorities removed them in 1864. The sandstone figures of Christ the Good Shepherd and John Paul II in front date from 1997–1998.

The view is taken from the tourist information point across Tomaszowska Street, with a paved forecourt, a small lawn and a wooden signpost in the foreground. Cars and buses pass on the road in front, and tall trees line the churchyard wall on the right.
