Haven van Zandvoort Live Cam

A beach pavilion at Zandvoort carries this webcam above the sand, on the North Sea coast just west of Amsterdam. Wicker chairs and tables stand on the deck in the foreground, and flat grey sea fills the top of the frame.

Zandvoort is the nearest beach to Amsterdam and is reached by train in half an hour, which is why it fills on any warm day. The pavilions along the sand are built each spring and taken down in autumn, because winter storms would destroy them.

Behind the dunes lies the motor racing circuit, and during the Grand Prix weekend the whole village is given over to it. The rest of the year the beach is walkers, wind and kitesurfers.
