Boulevard Noord, Egmond aan Zee Live Cam

This camera looks over the beach from Boulevard Noord in Egmond aan Zee, on the North Sea coast of North Holland. It turns between several views, from the beach ramp below to the long shoreline beyond.

Egmond aan Zee is a seaside village in the municipality of Bergen, about nine kilometres west of Alkmaar, set among coastal dunes. The camera hangs around fifteen metres above the boulevard on the western side of Hotel Golfzang, so the beach, the dune edge and the sea all sit in one frame.

In the frames it covers the wooden ramp with benches that leads down to the sand, a small statue at its foot, parked cars and flagpoles along the dune, and beach pavilions on the sand. Turned south and zoomed in, it follows the surf line to chimneys and wind turbines on the horizon, a different angle from the other Egmond cameras on the site.
