Acapulco Bay Live Cam

Acapulco Bay is an almost circular inlet on the Pacific coast of Mexico, in the southern state of Guerrero. The camera looks along Playa Condesa on the northern side of it.

The shelter of that bay made the city. For two and a half centuries a galleon came in here once a year from Manila, carrying silk and porcelain that went overland to Veracruz and on to Spain, and silver went back the other way.

The resort strip along the shore dates from the 1950s. In October 2023 Hurricane Otis came ashore here as a category five after strengthening overnight, and the rebuilding along this beach is still going on.
