Bandar Klang Live Cam

A small tributary joins the Klang river here, and the camera looks down on the confluence from the bank beside a car park. Cars are parked a few metres from the bank.

A yellow depth staff and a wooden pole stand in the water where the two channels meet, the near bank is a low concrete wall with a blue handrail, and the far side is overgrown with dense riverside scrub. Mud flats show along the edges, which means the tide is out.

Being tidal makes this camera different from the inland ones: the level here rises and falls twice a day regardless of rainfall. The combination of a spring tide and a heavy storm upstream is what puts Bandar Klang under water.
